Beam Combining of a Tunable Tilted Quantum Cascade Laser Array

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
The four‐channel tilted waveguide with varying angles in the quantum cascade laser array, achieving a free tuning range of 100 nm and common‐aperture output simultaneously, is reported. The fabrication eliminates the necessity of electron‐beam lithography and is very promising for mass production in gas sensing industry.

Strain‐Induced Optical and Molecular Transformations in Poly(Ethylene Terephthalate) Films for Organic Electronic Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.
This study explores how mechanical strain affects the optical and molecular properties of poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) films, crucial for flexible electronics. Using UV–Vis and Raman spectroscopy, it reveals strain‐induced changes in transparency and vibrational modes. Findings provide insights into optimizing PET‐based devices like organic solar
