Topological Insulator Layered Bi2Te3 Based 3D‐Printed Nanocarbon Electrode for Rechargeable Aqueous Ammonium‐Ion Battery

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this work, Bi2Te3 is integrated into a 3D‐printed nanocarbon electrode for NH4+ storage. A rocking‐chair battery with CuHCF as the cathode delivers a high energy density of 134.8 Wh kg−1 and a power density of 1800 W kg−1. The design allows easy recovery of carbon additives, promoting sustainability and recyclability in next‐generation aqueous ...

Modeling the angular correlation function and its full covariance in Photometric Galaxy Surveys [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Near future cosmology will see the advent of wide area photometric galaxy surveys, like the Dark Energy Survey (DES), that extent to high redshifts (z ~ 1 - 2) but with poor radial distance resolution.

Scalable Perovskite Quantum Dot Glass Nanocomposites for High‐Efficiency Luminescent Solar Concentrators

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study evaluates the scalability of PQD GNC‐based LSCs for BIPV applications. Experimental data and Monte Carlo simulations predict performance up to 1 m2, achieving a peak power conversion efficiency of 3.17%. The results confirm the viability of these LSCs for energy‐efficient building applications.

Spectroscopic Confirmation of a Massive Protocluster with Two Substructures at z ≃ 3.1

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
We present the results of a Keck and Northern Extended Millimeter Array spectroscopic survey of 507 galaxies, where we confirm the presence of two massive overdensities at z = 3.090−3.110 and z = 3.133−3.155 in the neighborhood of the GOODS-N, each with ...

Cosmic Complementarity: Joint Parameter Estimation from Cosmic Microwave Background Experiments and Redshift Surveys [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
We study the ability of future cosmic microwave background anisotropy experiments and redshift surveys to constrain a 13-dimensional parameterization of the adiabatic cold dark matter model.

Multifunctional Polyfluoride Ionogel‐Encapsulated Lithium Anodes for Durable and Safe Pouch Cells under Harsh Conditions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this work, it is developed a multifunctional polyfluoride ionogel via in situ thermal polymerization to encapsulate lithium metal anodes, integrating flame‐retardant capability, hydrophobicity, dynamic self‐healing behavior, and high ionic conductivity.

The MOST Hosts Survey: Spectroscopic Observation of the Host Galaxies of ∼40,000 Transients Using DESI

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal Supplement Series
We present the Multi-Object Spectroscopy of Transient (MOST) Hosts survey. The survey is planned to run throughout the 5 yr of operation of the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) and will generate a spectroscopic catalog of the hosts of most ...

The differential magnification of high-redshift ultraluminous infrared galaxies [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
A class of extremely luminous high-redshift galaxies has recently been detected in unbiased submillimetre-wave surveys using the Submillimetre Common-User Bolometer Array (SCUBA) camera at the James Clerk Maxwell Telescope.
