Determination of the Local Chemical Structure of Graphene Oxide and Reduced Graphene Oxide

Advanced Materials, 2010
The local atomic structure of graphene oxide (GO) and reduced annealed graphene oxide (raGO) is determined via ultra-high-resolution transmission electron microscopy. We find that the proposed and desired return to graphene from GO is not possible through the synthetic route employed.

Chlorination of Reduced Graphene Oxide Enhances the Dielectric Constant of Reduced Graphene Oxide/Polymer Composites

Advanced Materials, 2013
14–19 ] The conductor-insulator composites are attracting much attention for potential applications of charge-storage capacitors, thin-fi lm transistors, and antistatic materials owing to their unique properties, i.e., a dramatic increase in dielectric constant in the conductor-insulator composite fi lms near the percolation threshold.

Magnetic Characteristics of Graphene Oxide and Reduced Graphene Oxide

Materials Science Forum, 2021
Graphene oxide (GO) is 2D material made of honey comb carbon structure as backbone and decorated by oxygen functional groups in both sides. These functional groups have role to the GO properties, such as magnetic susceptibility, band gap, conductivity.

Dispersion behaviour of graphene oxide and reduced graphene oxide

Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, 2014
The dispersion behaviour of graphene oxide (GO) and chemically reduced GO (rGO) has been investigated in a wide range of organic solvents. The effect of the reduction process on the GO solubility in eighteen different solvents was examined and analysed, taking into consideration the solvent polarity, the surface tension and the Hansen and Hildebrand ...
