Technical Note: A GBLUP to Produce ssGBLUP Solutions for Genotyped Animals
Nowadays, single-step genomic best linear unbiased prediction (ssGBLUP) is the most popular methodology for livestock genetic evaluation. It simultaneously evaluates genotyped and nongenotyped animals using an augmented genotype and pedigree relationship

Reduced Simulation Strategy – Multiple Model Applicability [PDF]
The main ideea of the paper is to reduce the hardware and software effort required for a simulation process using an identified model. Since the results are consistent, based on the observations of the data related relationship to the minimum necessary ...

Reduced Order Modeling of an Industrial Feeder Model
Models of glaes furnaces are described by a set of nonlinear partial differential equâtioris which govern the mass, momentum and energy balances and a numberof non-linear functions of the independent scalais which describe the dependent variables like viscosities and densities in a fluid.

Enteropathogenic E. coli (EPEC) infects the human intestinal epithelium, resulting in severe illness and diarrhoea. In this study, we compared the infection of cancer‐derived cell lines with human organoid‐derived models of the small intestine. We observed a delayed in attachment, inflammation and cell death on primary cells, indicating that host ...

Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Model Checking Multithreaded Programs by Means of Reduced Models
AbstractJava is largely used to develop distributed and concurrent systems, but testing multithreaded systems cannot guarantee the quality of the software; in contrast, verification techniques give us a higher confidence about the system and, among these, model checking methods automatically establish properties of complex systems.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Multi-Frequency Aeroelastic ROM for Transonic Compressors
The accurate prediction of the aeroelastic behavior of turbomachinery for aircraft propulsion poses a difficult yet fundamental challenge, since modern aircraft engines tend to adopt increasingly slender blades to achieve a higher aerodynamic efficiency,
