TRIANGULAR MATRIX REPRESENTATIONS OF SKEW MONOID RINGS [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Let R be a ring and S a u.p.-monoid. Assume that there is a monoid homomorphism α : S → Aut (R). Suppose that α is weakly rigid and lR(Ra) is pure as a left ideal of R for every element a ∈ R.

On orthogonal completion of reduced rings [PDF]

open access: yesPacific Journal of Mathematics, 1983
It is known that the relation \(a\leq b\) if \(a\cdot b=a^ 2\) defined for reduced rings R (rings with no nonzero nilpotent elements) makes R into a partially ordered multiplicative semigroup. A subset X of R is called an orthogonal subset of R if for x,\(y\in X\), \(x\neq y\) implies \(x\cdot y=0\).

On reduced archimedean skew power series rings [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Algebra and Its Applications, 2020
In this paper, we prove that if [Formula: see text] is an Archimedean reduced ring and satisfy ACC on annihilators, then [Formula: see text] is also an Archimedean reduced ring. More generally, we prove that if [Formula: see text] is a right Archimedean ring satisfying the ACC on annihilators and [Formula: see text] is a rigid automorphism of [Formula:

Design and construction of a shield for the 9" x 9" NaI(Tl) well-type detector [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Technology and Radiation Protection, 2014
This paper describes a homemade lead, 15 cm-thick, cylindrical shaped shield of a 9" x 9" NaI(Tl) gamma spectrometric well-type detector. Commercially available lead was melted into cylindrical rings.

Comparison of Contamination of Low-Frictional Elastomeric Rings with That of Conventional Elastomeric Rings by Streptococcus mutans - An In-vivo Study [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research, 2015
Introduction: The presence of brackets and ligatures has been shown to be related to an increase in gingival inflammation and increased risk of decalcification. The various measures were taken to reduce the plaque accumulation and also lot of efforts

An extension of the reflexive property of rings

open access: yesArab Journal of Mathematical Sciences, 2019
Mason introduced the notion of reflexive property of rings as a generalization of reduced rings. For a ring endomorphism α, Krempa studied α-rigid rings as an extension of reduced rings. In this note, we introduce the notion of α-quasi reflexive rings as

Zero-divisor graphs of reduced Rickart *-rings

open access: yesDiscussiones Mathematicae - General Algebra and Applications, 2017
For a ring A with an involution *, the zero-divisor graph of A, Γ*(A), is the graph whose vertices are the nonzero left zero-divisors in A such that distinct vertices x and y are adjacent if and only if xy* = 0.
