This work explores Li‐substituted P2 layered oxides for Na‐ion batteries by crystallographic and electrochemical studies. The effect of lithium on superstructure orderings, on phase transitions during synthesis and electrochemical cycling and on the interplay of O‐ versus TM‐redox is revealed via various advanced techniques, including semi‐simultaneous

Low-energy electron diffraction from disordered surfaces [PDF]
Model calculations are presented of L E E D intensities diffracted by a onedimensionally disordered overlayer adsorbed on a well ordered substrate. Multiple scattering amplitudes are calculated by an extension of Beeby's multiple scattering method ...

This study presents novel anti‐counterfeiting tags with multilevel security features that utilize additional disguise features. They combine luminescent nanosized Ln‐MOFs with conductive polymers to multifunctional mixed‐matrix membranes and powder composites. The materials exhibit visible/NIR emission and matrix‐based conductivity even as black bodies.

Epitaxy, exfoliation, and strain-induced magnetism in rippled Heusler membranes
Single-crystalline membranes of functional materials enable the tuning of properties via extreme strain states; however, conventional routes for producing membranes require the use of sacrificial layers and chemical etchants, which can both damage the ...
