Evaluation of Epoxy Resin Composites in Multilayer Structure for Stealth Technology
The present work evaluates a multilayer structure based on epoxy resin for stealth technology. The structure consists of two absorber layers with nanoferrite and a resistive layer between them containing polyaniline (PANI) with and without carbon ...

Four‐point bending tests are conducted in an argon atmosphere on commercial MgO‐C brick grades with and without MgO‐C recyclate from room temperature up to 1300 °C. No detrimental effect of the MgO‐C recyclates on bending strength is found. Instead, a decisive influence of the total carbon content is observed, with lower total carbon contents ...

Machine learning models have found their applications in solving problems that can traditionally handle ordinary or partial differential equations. The full-wave simulations solve such equations for functional materials in the microwave regime.

Supersymmetry generated one-way invisible PT-symmetric optical crystals
We use supersymmetry transformations to design transparent and one-way reflectionless (thus unidirectionally invisible) complex crystals with balanced gain and loss profiles. The scattering coefficients are investigated using the transfer matrix approach.

Sol–Gel Derived Polymer Precursors for Stereolithography of ZrC
ZrC is a critical material target for extreme temperature conditions. This report describes a protocol for preparing ZrC ceramics via stereolithography and examines the impact of the polymer matrix on carbothermal reduction and mechanical stability of 3D printed ZrC.

Transformation bending device emulated by graded-index waveguide
We demonstrate that a transformation device can be emulated using a gradient-index waveguide. The effective index of the waveguide is spatially varied by tailoring a gradient thickness dielectric waveguide.

Collagen hydrolysate is evaluated as a sustainable binder for MgO‐C refractories. Its thermally induced cross‐linking and gas release lead to expansion and cracking in large bricks, but tailored batches with lignin, recyclates, or fine graphite improve the gas release while thermal treatment and stability.

Time‐Dependent Oxidation and Scale Evolution of a Wrought Co/Ni‐Based Superalloy
This study shows how a new wrought Co/Ni‐based superalloy resists oxidation at 800 ∘$^\circ$C. The oxide scale changes from rough, fast‐growing spinel to a dense, protective chromia–alumina layer. Atom probe analysis reveals tiny refractory‐rich bubbles at the interface that mark the transition to long‐term, diffusion‐controlled protection ...

Determination of the dissipative loss of a two-port network from noise temperature measurements [PDF]
When radiometric equipment is available, noise temperature measurement techniques provide a convenient and accurate means for determining the dissipative component of the insertion loss of a two-port network.
