New types of reflecting prisms and reflecting prism assembly
Optical Engineering, 1996It is shown that a roof Dove prism is a typical circular beam deflector used in a transmitted parallel beam. Apparently, the importance of this prism is for its multifunction. However, it is unfavorable because of its high value of length-aperture ratio, which imposes restrictions on extending its application to many cases.

Types that reflect changes of object usability
1997Strong, static typing is useful because it can improve the readability, reliability and optimizability of programs. The usability of an object may change over time. However, conventional type systems for object-oriented languages presume that objects are always used in the same way.

Infrared Polarizers of the Reflection Type
Journal of the Optical Society of America, 1961Infrared polarizers have been fabricated by placing a large number of glass plates coated with selenium in parallel. The aperture is 12 cm×9 cm. The beam is reflected two or four times in the apparatus and exits in the same direction as that of the incident beam. When the incident beam is not perfectly parallel and has the maximum obliquity of 0.05 rad,

Reflection-type speaker apparatus
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1996A speaker apparatus includes a speaker having a diaphragm, a frame having a mouth and a reflector. The speaker is mounted inside a cylindrical box, and the frame is formed cylindrically and covers over the diaphragm. The mouth opens perpendicular to an axis along the center of the diaphragm.
