Multifunctional Infrared Polarizer Based on Aligned Growth of High‐Density Boron Nitride Nanotubes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This paper presents a novel method for the high‐density, aligned growth synthesis and purification of boron nitride nanotubes (BNNTs). The polarization sensitivity and linear dichroism characteristics of BNNTs in the near‐infrared and mid‐infrared bands are comprehensively verified.

Studies of the vestibulo-ocular reflex on STS 4, 5 and 6 [PDF]

open access: yes
The vestibulo-ocular reflex (VOR) may be altered by weightlessness. Since this reflex plays a large role in visual stabilization, it was important to document any changes caused by space flight. This is a report on findings on STS-4 through 6 and is part

Sustained‐Release Photothermal Microneedles for Postoperative Incisional Analgesia and Wound Healing via Hydrogen Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study introduces a novel transdermal delivery system of molecular hydrogen for postoperative pain relief and wound healing. This system utilizes sustained‐release photothermal microneedles to integrate hydrogen‐releasing nanoparticles and temperature‐responsive microspheres, achieving acid‐responsive hydrogen release and controlled drug release ...

Effect of cervicolabyrinthine impulsation on the spinal reflex apparatus [PDF]

open access: yes
In view of the fact that the convergence effect of vestibular impulsation may both stimulate and inhibit intra and intersystemic coordination of physiological processes, an attempt was made to define the physiological effect on the spinal reflex ...

Scalable Multifunctional Fabrics with Boosted Intrinsic Photothermal Efficiency for Salt‐Resistant Solar‐Driven Janus Evaporators

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Scalable nylon fabrics with bioinspired light‐trapping nanostructures and 84.6% intrinsic photothermal conversion efficiency are developed for solar desalination. The Janus evaporator shows high evaporation rate of 3.84 kg m−2 h−1 and long‐term stability in seawater, offering a cost‐effective solution for solar desalination.
