Role of the middle ear muscle apparatus in mechanisms of speech signal discrimination [PDF]
A method of impedance reflexometry was used to examine 101 students with hearing impairment in order to clarify the interrelation between speech discrimination and the state of the middle ear muscles.

In corundum‐type medium‐entropy oxides, oxygen partial pressure regulation facilitated the in situ growth of whiskers, significantly enhancing mechanical properties. The growth mechanism and reinforcing effects of whiskers are systematically elucidated through a combination of theoretical calculations and experimental validation, providing a novel ...

Proton‐coupled electron transfer doping with benzoquinone is applied to p‐dope dense films of semiconducting single‐walled carbon nanotubes. The doping efficiency depends on the pH of the doping solution and the bandgap of the nanotubes. The highest conductivities and power factors are achieved for small‐bandgap nanotubes, remaining stable for over 120

Controllable Antiferromagnetic to Ferromagnetic Transition of CrSBr by Organic Cation Intercalation
The phase transformation of antiferromagnetic CrSBr into ferromagnetic TBA‐CrSBr is realized by intercalating organic TBA⁺ cations into its van der Waals gap. The temperature dependence of magnetization unambiguously shows the typical antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic behavior for pristine CrSBr and intercalated TBA‐CrSBr, respectively.
