Binding Principle for Long-distance Anaphors

open access: yesKansas Working Papers in Linguistics, 1997
This paper deals with long-distance anaphora, a binding phenomenon in which reflexives find their antecedents outside their local domain. I introduce various syntactic approaches to the phenomenon: Binding-domain parametrizing approach, Governing ...

Principle of local reflexivity respecting subspaces [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2013
We obtain a strengthening of the principle of local reflexivity in a general form. The added strength makes local reflexivity operators respect given subspaces. Applications are given to bounded approximation properties of pairs, consisting of a Banach space and its subspace.

Engineered Genetic Circuits Activated by Bezafibrate Improve ESC‐Based TAA Cancer Vaccine Efficacy and PD‐L1 Nanobody Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Synthetic gene circuits regulated by bezafibrate are developed to express tumor antigens and PD‐L1 nanobody (PD‐L1nb), enhancing cancer immunotherapy. Delivered via HEK293T cells, ESCs, or directly injected the plasmids containing the circuit into the tumor, the circuits reduce tumor growth, boost CD8+ T cells, and minimize T cell exhaustion.

Generating toric noncommutative crepant resolutions

open access: yes, 2011
We present an algorithm that finds all toric noncommutative crepant resolutions of a given toric 3-dimensional Gorenstein singularity. The algorithm embeds the quivers of these algebras inside a real 3-dimensional torus such that the relations are ...

An Extension of Semicommutative Rings via Reflexivity [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv
This article introduces the notion of an NJ-reflexive ring and demonstrates that it is distinct from the concept of a reflexive ring. The class of NJ-reflexive rings contains the class of semicommutative rings, the class of left (right) quasi-duo rings, and the class of J-clean rings but is strictly larger than these classes.
