Sanitation felling against the European spruce bark beetle: A matter of intensity and forest type Tagli fitosanitari contro il bostrico tipografo: una questione di intensità e tipologia forestale

open access: yesAgricultural and Forest Entomology, Volume 28, Issue 3, Page 382-397, August 2026.
We assess the effect of sanitation felling performed in 2022 in North‐Eastern Italy on bark beetle damage that occurred in 2023 across eight spruce forest types, as evaluated using multispectral satellite imagery. Biological legacies influence seedling survival and growth in post‐fire restoration of Patagonian Nothofagus pumilio forests

open access: yesEcological Solutions and Evidence, Volume 7, Issue 3, July–September 2026.
In post‐fire subantarctic forests of Torres del Paine National Park, nucleation‐based reforestation of Nothofagus pumilio was evaluated over 5 years to assess how the identity, proximity, and lateral coverage of biological legacies influence seedling survival and growth.
