Single‐Atom Pt Anchoring on Self‐Doped ZrO2@G‐C3N4 Nanostructure Enables Efficient Photocatalytic Seawater Hydrogen Evolution

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Grain‐like Zr3+‐ZrO2 and Pt single atoms are integrated into an S‐scheme Zr3+‐ZrO2@g‐C3N4 heterostructure to enable efficient visible‐light‐driven seawater hydrogen production. The combined effect of Pt single‐atom sites and the S‐scheme charge‐transfer pathway accelerates carrier separation, preserves strong redox ability, and markedly enhances ...

The Benefits of Linking CGE and Microsimulation Models: Evidence from a Flat Tax Analysis [PDF]

open access: yes
Mircrosimulation models (MSM) and Computable General Equilibrium models (CGE) have both been widely used in policy analysis. The combination of these two model types allows the utilisation of the advantages of both types.

Synergistic Ion Transport and Spatial Confinement in Sb‐Embedded Hollow Carbon Nanofibers for Stable Na Metal Anodes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work presents a 3D Sb‐embedded hollow carbon nanofiber (Sb@HCF) host for ultra‐stable Na metal anodes. Experimental analyses and theoretical simulations clearly uncovers that in situ formed Na‐Sb alloy guides uniform Na deposition and serves as efficient ion transport highways. The Sb@HCF‐based cells achieve exceptional cycling stability in half‐,

Bench‐to‐Bedside Translation of Self‐Healing Colloidal Hydrogels as Next Generation Design of Flowable Hemostatic Matrix: From Preclinical Evaluation to Human Clinical Trials

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Self‐healing materials represent a paradigm shift in designing functional biomedical devices for drug delivery, tissue regeneration, and 3D bioprinting. However, their clinical translation remains limited by challenges such as insufficient mechanical strength, potential cytotoxicity from chemical modifications, and complex activation ...

Would a Flat Tax Stimulate Entrepreneurship in Germany?: A Behavioural Microsimulation Analysis Allowing for Risk [PDF]

open access: yes
When possible income tax reforms are debated, the suspected impact on entrepreneurship is often used as an argument in favour or against a certain policy.
