Additive‐Driven Phase Control for Stable and Efficient CsPbI₃ Solar Cells Via Ambient Low‐Temperature Processing

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
CsPbI₃ perovskite solar cells face stability issues due to high annealing temperatures and moisture. Butylammonium acetate (BAAc) enables stable phase formation at 160°C in ambient laboratory conditions, enhancing efficiency and stability, achieving 18.6% PCE, and maintaining over 81% efficiency after 1,000 hours of maximum power point tracking under 1

Influence and Correction of Refraction Phenomenon in Liquid Contact Angle Measurement in Capillary Tube

open access: yesColloids and Interfaces
By using clear vapor–liquid interface line images of the liquid inside the capillary, the measurement coordinate points of the vapor–liquid interface line were measured. A new method for measuring liquid contact angle has been proposed, which was used to

High‐Density Boron Nitride Nanotube Composites via Surfactant‐Stabilized Lyotropic Liquid Crystals for Enhanced Space Radiation Shielding

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
High‐density BNNT films, enabling mechanical robustness and high space radiation shielding effectiveness, are fabricated using surfactant‐stabilized BNNT liquid crystal. Simulations indicate that a 50 g cm−2 BNNT film can reduce radiation exposure by 56% compared to zero shielding, potentially doubling the duration of astronaut missions on the lunar ...

CO2 Reduction on Copper‐Nitrogen‐Doped Carbon Catalysts Tuned by Pulsed Potential Electrolysis: Effect of Pulse Potential

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that pulsed potential electrolysis significantly improves CO2 reduction performance on copper‐nitrogen doped carbon electrodes. The formation of cationic copper sites and metallic clusters as a function of applied intermittent potential leads to notable selectivity changes compared to potentiostatic reduction.

Atmospheric refraction effects on baseline error in satellite laser ranging systems [PDF]

open access: yes
Because of the mathematical complexities involved in exact analyses of baseline errors, it is not easy to isolate atmospheric refraction effects; however, by making certain simplifying assumptions about the ranging system geometry, relatively simple ...

Colloidal Opaline Composites as Throughput‐Scalable, Fully Transparent, and Color‐Tunable Radiative Cooling Exterior Films for Outdoor Photovoltaics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Particular thermal metamaterials are widely used as daytime radiative coolers merely by embedding thermally emissive nanoparticles (NPs) in liquid resins to form scalable, yet highly efficient cooling films in a cost‐effective way. However, randomly dispersed NPs, prevalently used thus far, cause strong scattering, limiting NP content and cooling ...
