Influence of Fe Particle Size Distribution on Chemical Homogeneity, Microstructure, and Crack Formation in Fe–SiC Powder Blends Processed by PBF‐LB/M

The influence of Fe particle size on in situ alloying of Fe–SiC powder blends in PBF‐LB/M is revealed. Contrary to expectations, the coarser Fe fraction provides a broader crack‐free processing window and slightly improved elemental homogeneity while producing higher but more variable hardness. Optoelectronic synaptic devices based on solution‐processed molecular telluride GST‐225 phase‐change inks are demonstrated for three‐factor learning. A global optical signal broadcast through a silicon waveguide induces non‐volatile conductance updates exclusively in locally electrically flagged memristors.
