Outcomes of sclerokeratoplasty in severe ocular surface disease
Sclerocorneal grafts are procedures considered in cases with extensive corneal and scleral tissue destruction. The study aims to describe sclerokeratoplasty outcomes in severely diseased eyes.

Noise‐induced synaptopathy (NIS) is largely reversible due to self‐repair. NIS and noise‐induced hidden hearing loss are two concepts with similarities and differences. The major hearing deficits in NIHHL are temporal processing disorders. The translation of animal data in NIS studies to humans is hindered by many factors.

A novel multiple cross‐linked betaine‐type amphiphilic polymer hydrogels are developed via in situ free radical copolymerization. The resultant formation, named P(SBMA‐co‐AANa) hydrogel, functions as a vitreous substitute and demonstrates superior performance in optical properties, support capacity, and biocompatibility on a vitrectomized rabbit model.

Refraction problems after refractive surgery
While refractive surgery such as radial keratotomy, epikeratophakia, and corneal relaxing incisions offer many potential benefits to patients, they can also generate optical problems such as overcorrection or undercorrection of the prior refractive error and variable vision.
