Exchange Length Tailored Magnetic Resonance for Broadband Absorption in FeCo‐Based Alloys

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
To break the high‐frequency magnetic loss bottleneck in soft magnetic alloys, a magnetic exchange length (Lex)‐guided strategy is proposed. Cu doping increases Lex and intergranular coupling, which effectively reduces magnetic anisotropy and pushes the exchange resonance to 12.0 GHz.

High‐Sensitive Mass Cytometry Metal Tags Based on Noble Metal Nanoparticles Assisting Acute Myeloid Leukemia Immune Checkpoint Profiling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Mass cytometry is optimal for acute leukemia immune checkpoint profiling. However, current commercial metal‐chelating polymer (MCP) metal tags limit its sensitivity due to low metal loading capacity. We report a novel synthetic strategy employing antibody‐conjugated gold or platinum nanoparticles (AuNP/PtNP) for high‐dimensional single‐cell ...

Effect of microstructure on hydrogen absorption in WMoTaNbV high-entropy alloy

open access: yesNuclear Materials and Energy
The refractory high entropy alloy, WMoTaNbV, absorbs significant quantities of H directly from the atmosphere. The effective hydrogen absorption has been attributed to the elemental composition of the alloy as well as its highly elaborate lattice ...

Inverse Design of Alloys via Generative Algorithms: Optimization and Diffusion within Learned Latent Space

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
This work presents a novel generative artificial intelligence (AI) framework for inverse alloy design through operations (optimization and diffusion) within learned compact latent space from variational autoencoder (VAE). The proposed work addresses challenges of limited data, nonuniqueness solutions, and high‐dimensional spaces.

The strengthening mechanisms and incipient plasticity of additively manufactured biomedical refractory high entropy alloys

open access: yesVirtual and Physical Prototyping
Owing to the cellular structure that limits dislocation motion upon stress loading, additively manufactured (AM) refractory high-entropy alloys (HEAs) exhibit an excellent strength-plasticity synergy.
