Oxidation Behavior of Refractory AlNbTiVZr0.25 High-Entropy Alloy [PDF]
Oxidation behavior of a refractory AlNbTiVZr0.25 high-entropy alloy at 600–900 °C was investigated. At 600–700 °C, two-stage oxidation kinetics was found: Nearly parabolic oxidation (n = 0.46–0.48) at the first stage, transitioned to breakaway oxidation (n = 0.75–0.72) at the second stage.

High-Temperature Mechanical Properties of NbTaHfTiZrV0.5 Refractory High-Entropy Alloys
The NbTaHfTiZrV0.5 is a refractory multi-principal-element alloy with high strength and good ductility at room temperature. It is important for possible high-temperature applications to investigate the deformation mechanism of the NbTaHfTiZrV0.5 alloy at different temperatures using tensile tests. In this investigation, the tensile tests were conducted

Homogenization of TiVTaNb refractory high-entropy alloy
Homogenization of refractory high entropy alloys (RHEAs) usually requires very high annealing temperatures and long periods due to the high melting temperature of alloying elements and the sluggish diffusion effects. TiVTaNb is a typical RHEA with excellent mechanical properties.

Microstructure Evolution and Mechanical Properties of Refractory Mo-Nb-V-W-Ti High-Entropy Alloys
High-entropy alloys can either be defined as solid solution alloys containing at least five elements in equiatomic or near-equiatomic composition, or as alloys with high configurational entropies (larger than 1.5R), regardless of the number of elements ...
