Engineering assessment of refrigerant recovery and emission control in automotive air-conditioning maintenance and end-of-life vehicle management [PDF]
Refrigerant emissions from passenger car mobile air-conditioning (MAC) servicing are an important but poorly quantified source of high-GWP greenhouse gases. This study collaborated with H Company’s Guangzhou workshop to develop a standardized refrigerant

The root cause of refrigerant leaking from a household refrigerator’s compressor system can be traced to micro- and macro-damage within the sealed system. To determine and prevent further leakage, it is necessary to equip the refrigerator with an alarm device featuring a thermal balloon on the exterior of the freezer evaporator.

Efficient Adsorption‐Based Direct Air Capture Via Triply Periodic Minimal Surface Architectures
Architected triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) contactors reshape direct air capture by replacing straight‐channel diffusion limits with convection‐enhanced CO2 transport. Chaotic advection thins boundary layers and exposes fast adsorption sites, enabling 70%–75% more fast sites, 114% higher productivity, and 51.8% lower energy consumption than ...

Differential Tissue‐Coupled Powering for Battery‐Free Injectable Electroceuticals
A thread‐like injectable neural stimulator is powered through differential tissue‐coupled powering (DTCP), which harvests RF‐frequency tissue potentials with an elongated receiver while preserving a injectable cross‐section. The system integrates an ASIC, stimulation electrodes, and a portable transmitter, enabling wireless peripheral nerve stimulation,

Research on Carbon Emission of Household Air Conditioners Based on DLCA
In this study, we utilize the life cycle assessment method to examine the relationship between the change in the energy efficiency ratio of air conditioners and the energy structure over the course of its operational years.
