Integrated Bipolar Membrane Electrodialysis and Electrolysis for CO2 Capture and Conversion

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates an integrated BMEED platform that couples CO2 capture and conversion within a single modular system. By combining BMED with CO2E, high‐purity CO is produced while avoiding intermediate stripping, excessive capital and O&M costs, and external gas feeds.

Decoupling Quasi‐Solid‐State Sulfur Conversion Mechanisms in Weakly Solvating and Locally High Concentration Electrolytes

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
Weakly solvating CME–TTE and localized high‐concentration G2–TTE electrolytes redirect lithium–sulfur chemistry toward quasi‐solid‐state conversion through distinct coordination environments. Molecular dynamics and multimodal electrochemical and spectroscopic measurements show that G2–TTE couples multidentate solvent coordination, anion participation ...

Keeping Pace or Falling Behind? The Depth of Latin American Trade Agreements

open access: yesApplied Economic Perspectives and Policy, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This article examines whether Latin American countries are keeping pace with global trends in trade agreement depth or falling behind. Using 681 agreements (1970–2019), we develop the Depth Index of Trade Agreements (DITA) to weight provisions endogenously through factor analysis based on co‐occurrence patterns.
