Culinary Chemistry as a Platform for Interfacial Materials Design

Culinary processes control interfaces through heating, shear, gelation, and molecular transport. This Review connects selected gastronomic examples with food‐derived nanomaterials, plasmonic sensing, anthocyanin photovoltaics, and intelligent packaging. Original agar‐based plasmonic films illustrate the proposed translation.

Gate‐Induced Critical Current Modulation in W–C Nanowires: The Role of Fabrication

Focused ion beam induced deposition (FIBID) enables precise control of superconducting W–C nanowire devices. Introducing a Ga+ focused ion beam (FIB) cleaning step reduces substrate damage and suppresses leakage currents, shifting gating thresholds to higher voltages.

Flexible Pressure Sensor With Co‐Optimized Sensitivity and Linearity Based on Gradient Toroidal Microstructures

A flexible piezoresistive pressure sensor with gradient toroidal CNT/PDMS microstructures is reported. The hierarchical geometry enables sequential electrode contact, achieving a sensitivity of 256.20 kPa−1 and linear response (R2 = 0.99) over 0–1000 kPa.
