The Region-Exhaustive Fault Model

16th Asian Test Symposium (ATS 2007), 2007
Device failure mechanisms of today's deep sub-micron processes are not well-modeled by single stuck-at faults, and hence several advanced fault models have been proposed in the past. Gate-exhaustive fault models were proposed to exercise a gate completely and then observe the resultant response at an observable output.

A theoretical model for the intercistronic region

Journal of Theoretical Biology, 1972
Abstract Punctuation in polycistronic messages is very probably not restricted to a single nonsense triplet. In the present paper a simple theoretical model is proposed of an intercistronic region (having the length of 15 bases) which would protect the cell against the damage resulting from any suppressor or frameshift mutation.

The Regional Model

1997
Abstract Until now we have analyzed a model describing individual variables. We have studied regional data, but our aim was mainly to obtain information on the number of common shocks in model (1.2). In the present chapter we shift to a generalization of (1.2).

Regional Modelling and Structural Stability [PDF]

open access: possibleEnvironment and Planning A: Economy and Space, 1979
This paper uses the concept of structural stability for dynamic systems to find out which flow patterns for goods, and hence which location patterns, are structurally stable, that is, qualitatively unaffected by perturbations caused by partial relocations of economic activity. The model used is the Beckmann continuous-space market model, generalized to

Regional Physical-Geological Models and Regioning

2012
A preliminary model is devised to represent the geological objective when preparing a geophysical project for the given area. Otherwise, it is impossible to select the set of methods and interpretation procedure. The latter is revised before interpreting, if necessary.

Uncertainties in Regional Oxidant Modelling - Experience with a Comprehensive Regional Model

1998
In recent years comprehensive models have been used as an increasingly important tool for the understanding of “source-receptor” relationships of various atmospheric pollutants and for developing and testing emission control strategies. However one must realize that each process included in a comprehensive model can potentially introduce uncertainties ...

Regional Deposition: Deposition Models

Journal of Aerosol Medicine and Pulmonary Drug Delivery, 2020
Modeling particle deposition in the human lung requires information about the morphology of the lung in terms of simple geometric units, e.g., characterizing bronchial airways by straight cylindrical tubes. Five different regional deposition models are discussed in this section with respect to morphometric lung models and related mathematical modeling ...

Modeling the subthreshold region of OTFTs

2011 8th International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Computing Science and Automatic Control, 2011
This paper presents the expressions and procedure for precise and simple modeling of the subthreshold region of OTFTs. The total drain current in the OTFT is calculated as the sum of two components, one calculated in above threshold regime plus the one corresponding to the below threshold regime. The tanh function is used to sew both regions.
