Regionalni razvoj hrvatske poljoprivrede

open access: yesZbornik Ekonomskog fakulteta u Zagrebu, 2004

Pediatric Versus Adult Shear‐Induced Hemolysis—Are Age‐Related Blood Properties the Main Cause for Differences?

open access: yesArtificial Organs, EarlyView.
Graphical summary of the experimental comparison of shear‐induced hemolysis in pediatric and adult blood using a Couette shearing device. Pediatric blood shows a trend toward lower increase in hemolysis at higher shear stress amplitudes, while no relevant differences are observed at low and intermediate stresses.

Extending the firm versus industry debate into social enterprises: A multilevel analysis on Spanish cooperatives 2008–2023

open access: yesAnnals of Public and Cooperative Economics, EarlyView.
Abstract An important debate in the field of strategy and industrial organization economics has long focused on whether the industry environment or firm idiosyncrasies have a greater impact on firm performance. 14‐3‐3σ up‐regulation in the temporal cortex associates with tau pathology and reactive astroglia in Lewy body disorders

open access: yesBrain Pathology, EarlyView.
14‐3‐3 protein homeostasis is disrupted in Lewy body pathology, showing a diminution of six isotypes and overexpression of stratifin. The latter was associated with stratifin colocalization with tau pathology and reactive astrocytes. Platelets, as a peripheral biomarker source, mirrored inversely cortical 14‐3‐3 gene expression patterns in dementia ...

Regionalni razvoj Njemačke

open access: yes, 2015
Povezanost nacionalnog, regionalnog i lokalnog razvoja u potpunosti je neupitna. Uspješna realizacija ciljeva regionalnog razvoja pridonosi gospodarskom rastu i razvoju neke zemlje, dok lokalne jedinice mogu ojačati svoje razvojne potencijale upravo kroz uspješnu implementaciju regionalne politike.

Rapid generation of prion disease models using AAV‐delivered PrP variants in knockout mice

open access: yesBrain Pathology, EarlyView.
We developed a rapid AAV‐based system to generate prion disease models in weeks rather than months. Following systemic AAV9P31 delivery of modified PrP to knockout mice, we achieved brain‐wide expression and successful propagation of both classical (RML) and atypical (GSS‐A117V) prion strains.

The L108I polymorphism in mouse prion protein drives spontaneous disease and enhances transmission of atypical and classical prion strains

open access: yesBrain Pathology, EarlyView.
A single amino acid change (L108I) combined with PrP overexpression drives spontaneous atypical prion formation in mice, enabling also efficient propagation of diverse prion strains. This model allows studying how spontaneous prion diseases arise and provides powerful tools for investigating strain emergence, transmission barriers, and mechanisms ...
