Kresling Origami‐Based Metamaterial Robot for Dynamic Electromagnetic Control
A reconfigurable metamaterial system integrates deformable origami units with high‐permittivity ceramic plates. Pneumatic switching between structural states alters local resonance conditions, enabling dynamic radar stealth and adaptive microwave reflection for mobile communication.

Dimple‐Encoded Reprogrammable Origami
Local snap‐through of bistable dimples turns flat elastic sheets into reprogrammable origami structures. Interaction‐guided dimple arrays act as angle‐programmable hinge bands, enabling one sheet to morph into distinct polygonal and three‐dimensional configurations while retaining stable shapes for deployable and protective functions.

Hearing the Serre Invariant of a Compact p‐Adic Analytic Manifold
ABSTRACT Using a previous novel way of defining kernel functions for Laplacian integral operators on a compact p$p$‐adic analytic manifold X$X$, one such operator Δ0s$\Delta _0^s$ with s∈R$s\in \mathbb {R}$ is applied to hearing the Serre invariant i(X)$i(X)$ by showing that a wavelet eigenvalue (with the wavelet having small support) is always ...

Multifaceted burden of short bowel syndrome for patients and caregivers: The landmark survey
Abstract Background Short bowel syndrome is a debilitating condition often requiring long‐term parenteral support to maintain hydration, nutrition, and survival. Methods As part of the noninterventional, cross‐sectional Landmark Survey study, we evaluated burdens associated with short bowel syndrome and parenteral support dependency from patient and ...

Suitable habitat of Himalayan wolf in Upper Mustang, Annapurna Conservation Area, Nepal
Decades ago, the Himalayan wolf Canis lupus chanco, a genetically distinct sub‐species of the gray wolf Canis lupus, faced persecution by local communities in the Nepalese Himalayas. Recently, wolf populations have returned and recolonized, sparking concerns about conflicts over livestock depredation, and emphasizing the urgent need for comprehensive ...

Abstract Although Macrourus species are the main by‐catch across Southern Ocean longline fisheries, including around South Georgia, the lack of species‐specific data has hindered effective management and ecological understanding. Aggregation of macrourids at genus level masks critical interspecific differences in life‐history strategies and ...

Using Local Expert Knowledge to Measure Prices: Evidence From a Survey Experiment in Vietnam
ABSTRACT Many countries lack spatially disaggregated consumer price data needed to estimate real inequality and spatial patterns of poverty. Such data are especially absent in poor countries where weak infrastructure and high transport costs create large price variation over space.

Inland Fishing Gear: Diversity, Classification, Management and Conservation Challenges
ABSTRACT This review highlights the diversity of fishing gear used in inland fisheries, particularly in small‐scale and artisanal fisheries worldwide. It focuses on gear regulation and management, emphasizing environmental impacts and associated conservation challenges, particularly the emerging problem of plastic pollution from fishing in aquatic ...
