Regular Expressions on the Command Line
About this course Would you like to use regular expressions with the classic command line utilities find, grep, sed and awk? These venerable Unix utilities allow you to search, filter and transform large amounts of text (including many common data ...

Pair‐wise comparison of the CellSearch and FETCH enrichment technologies for circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from metastatic breast, prostate, and small cell lung cancer patients shows an increased capture of CTCs using FETCH enrichment. The clinical implementation of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) as a predictive tool for therapy efficacy in the ...

. We improve on some recent results on lower bounds for conversion problems for regular expressions. In particular we consider the conversion of planar deterministic finite automata to regular expressions, study the effect of the complementation ...

Mastering text with Regular Expressions
About this course Have you ever wanted to extract phone numbers out of a block of unstructured text? Or email addresses. Or find all the words that start with “e” and end with “ed”, no matter their length?

We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

RegViz: Visual Debugging of Regular Expressions
Regular expressions are a widely used programming tech-nique, but seem to be neglected by software engineering research. Encoding complex string parsing in a very com-pact notation, their complexity and compactness, however, introduce particular ...

Finding novel vulnerabilities of hypomorphic BRCA1 alleles
Synthetic lethality screens performed to identify novel vulnerabilities often model complete gene loss, thereby overlooking patient‐derived hypomorphic mutations. In this study, we have performed genome‐wide CRISPR screens on BRCA1 hypomorphic mutations, showing BRCA1I26A behaves like wild‐type, while BRCA1R1699Q mimics deficiency. Furthermore, we have

Automatic Grouping of Regular Expressions
This project is about security of computer networks using Intrusion Detection Systems. IDS contain rules for detection expressed with regular expressions, which are for detection represented by finite-state automata. The complexity of this detection with

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created
