Regularity results for real analytic homotopies
Numerische Mathematik, 1985 This paper deals with properties of homotopies for finding roots of smooth mappings from \(R^ n\) to \(R^ n\). The homotopy considered is of the form: \(\Phi_ a(x,\lambda)=(1-\lambda)(x-a)+\lambda f(x)\), where x is a n-vector, f(x) is an n-vector and f is analytic in the real sense, and points \(x_ 0\) with \(f(x_ 0)=0\) are desired.

Bordism and regular homotopy of low-dimensional immersions [PDF]
Pacific Journal of Mathematics, 1992 To obtain explicit generators for the groups of regular homotopy classes of immersions of the \(k\)-sphere in \(\mathbb{R}^ n\), the author defines an immersion invariant as an element of the \(k\)-th homotopy group of a Stiefel manifold. Using this invariant, he obtains generators for some groups of low-dimensional immersions.
