Local log-regular rings vs. toric rings

Local log-regular rings are a certain class of Cohen-Macaulay local rings that are treated in logarithmic geometry. Our paper aims to provide purely commutative ring theoretic proof of some ring-theoretic properties of local log-regular rings such as an explicit description of a canonical module, and the finite generation of the divisor class group.

Microstructure Modification of Additively Manufactured Mo–9Si–8B by Annealing and Its Effects on High‐Temperature Mechanical Properties

Postbuild annealing systematically modifies the phase fractions and morphology of EB‐PBF processed Mo–9Si–8B. Quantitative microstructure–property correlations reveal how controlled phase evolution enhances high‐temperature compressive strength and creep resistance.

Superlubricity and Corrosion Inhibition Properties of Solvate Ionic Liquids in Hybrid Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic–Steel Interfaces

Solvate ionic liquids lubrication reduced the coefficient of friction by ∼60% compared to dry sliding, reaching steady‐state values as low as 0.04–0.05.
