Partitioning Regular Polygons into Circular Pieces I: Convex Partitions [PDF]
We explore an instance of the question of partitioning a polygon into pieces, each of which is as ``circular'' as possible, in the sense of having an aspect ratio close to 1.

The electrical response matrix of a regular 2n-gon
Consider a unit-resistive plate in the shape of a regular polygon with 2n sides, in which even-numbered sides are wired to electrodes and odd-numbered sides are insulated.

To overcome two‐dimensional modulation bottlenecks, Hadamard Matrix Slicing Single‐Pixel Imaging (HMS‐SPI) establishes an efficient one‐dimensional imaging paradigm. By slicing the traditional Hadamard matrix into one‐dimensional encoding vectors and spatially expanding them, the required measurement patterns decrease by a factor of N.

Natural convection in a circular enclosure with an internal cylinder of regular polygon geometry
This work presents a numerical investigation on the natural convection heat transfer in a circular enclosure with an internal cylinder at Ra=103-106 in both conduction and convection dominant regimes.

Stokes posets and serpent nests
We study two different objects attached to an arbitrary quadrangulation of a regular polygon. The first one is a poset, closely related to the Stokes polytopes introduced by Baryshnikov.

Origami‐Mediated Low‐Voltage Electret Soft Robotic Actuators for Human‐Machine Haptic Interfaces
This work introduces an origami‐mediated soft electret actuator that combines compliant mechanical design and enhanced charge retention for low‐voltage vibrotactile feedback. The device delivers reliable tactile cues, demonstrates durable performance under continuous actuation, and enables intuitive interaction in applications such as tactile ...

Geometric Singularities of the Stokes Problem
When the domain is a polygon of ℝ2, the solution of a partial differential equation is written as a sum of a regular part and a linear combination of singular functions.

Attaching handles to Delaunay nodo\"{\i}ds
For all $m \in \mathbb N - \{0\}$, we prove the existence of a one dimensional family of genus $m$, constant mean curvature (equal to 1) surfaces which are complete, immersed in $\mathbb R^3$ and have two Delaunay ends asymptotic to nodo\"{\i}dal ends ...

We report a fully wireless, circuit‐free neural stimulator built on a millimetric magneto‐mechano‐electric (MME) cantilever transducer (3 × 10 × 5 mm) with a barium titanate (BTO) piezoelectric ceramic core. Under low‐frequency alternating magnetic fields, the MME cantilever mechanically oscillates, inducing stress on the BTO element and thereby ...
