Explicit higher regularity on a Cauchy problem with mixed Neumann-power type boundary conditions
We investigate the regularity in L^p (p>2) of the gradient of any weak solution of a Cauchy problem with mixed Neumann-power type boundary conditions. Under suitable assumptions we prove the existence of weak solutions that satisfy explicit estimates.

Objective We aimed to construct and evaluate the first laboratory‐based frailty index (FI‐Lab) for predicting adverse outcomes in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and to compare its predictive ability to that of an existing clinical FI. Methods We used data from a single‐center prospective cohort of adult patients with SLE whose baseline visit ...

Generalised Translation of Indirect Utility Functions [PDF]
This paper considers the derivation of new demand systems from existing ones through replacing an indirect utility function ) , ( y U p by } ) / ( , { j y p y y U j j â ã Ó . p , where p is a vector of prices and y is income.

Objective To support high‐quality, patient‐centered care for systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) developed evidence‐based measures incorporating clinical and patient‐reported outcome measures (PROMs). Using the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research (CFIR), we conducted semistructured interviews ...

Choice of the Empirical Definition of Zero in the Translog Multiproduct Cost Functional Form
This study examines the impacts of empirical definition of zero output values on price elasticities, economy of scope, and scale using the Translog cost function. A system of cost and factor share equations with regularity conditions imposed is estimated.

Do We Really Need Both BEKK and DCC? A Tale of Two Covariance Models [PDF]
Large and very large portfolios of financial assets are routine for many individuals and organizations. The two most widely used models of conditional covariances and correlations are BEKK and DCC.

Sign-changing Lyapunov functions in linear extensions of dynamical systems
In this note we consider sets of linear extensions of dynamical systems on a torus. We examine regularity of the systems by means of a given sign-changing Lyapunov function.

A Generalization of Fixed-Point Theorems for Mappings with a Contractive Iterate
In this paper, a generalization of fixed-point mappings with an iterate at a point in complete metric spaces is shown, using the notions of T-closed sets and i-P-regularity/d-P-regularity, proving conditions for the existence and uniqueness of the fixed ...
