Abstract It is widely accepted that Henri Lefebvre's Marxism had anarchistic traits, but few have tried to specify what these traits are, or what they mean. This paper argues that Lefebvre's work should be seen as first and foremost an anti‐authoritarian theory that uses space, rather than a spatial theory.

Determination of Induction Time in Adult Patients with Valvular Heart Disease
Objective: Intravenous anaesthetics induce loss of consciousness in one arm-brain circulation time. As the circulatory transit time in patients with mitral stenosis (MS) and aortic stenosis (AS) is increased, the delivery of anaesthetics to the brain may

Fluid dynamics of aortic root dilation in Marfan syndrome
Aortic root dilation and propensity to dissection are typical manifestations of the Marfan Syndrome (MS), a genetic defect leading to the degeneration of the elastic fibres. Dilation affects the structure of the flow and, in turn, altered flow may play a

Abstract figure legend This randomized cross‐over trial (N = 12) addressed the hypothesis that selective reduction of pulmonary arterial pressure (i.e. manipulation of pulmonary arterial mechanoreceptor activation) during hypoxic exercise would reduce sympathetic outflow (muscle sympathetic nerve activity (MSNA)) in healthy humans.
