Flexural Behavior of Corroded Reinforced Recycled Aggregate Concrete Beams

open access: yesAdvances in Materials Science and Engineering, 2018
Recycling concrete not only reduces the use of virgin aggregate but also decreases the pressure on landfills. As a result, recycled coarse aggregate (RCA) is extensively recommended for new construction projects.

Synthetic and steel fibers in prestressed, precast long span beams [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Four large-scale, prismatic, T-shaped beams with 19 m span were produced without stirrups, but 2 with synthetic fibres and 2 with steel fibres. Four point bending tests were made to simulate the load bearing process of built-in beams. Three point
