Overcoming the Nyquist Limit in Molecular Hyperspectral Imaging by Reinforcement Learning

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Explorative spectral acquisition guide automatically selects informative spectral bands to optimize downstream tasks, outperforming full‐spectrum acquisition. The selected hyperspectral data are used for tasks such as unmixing and segmentation. BandOptiNet encodes selection states and outputs optimal bands to guide spectral acquisition. Recent advances

Modular Abbott Algebras

open access: yesAxioms
This note adds to the investigation of Abbott algebras in relation to quantum logics (see the references below). We introduce a variety of modular Abbott algebras and show that they are isomorphic to the variety of modular quantum logics.

Deep Learning Approaches for Classifying Crack States With Overload and Predicting Fatigue Parameters in a Titanium Alloy

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This study proposes a deep learning approach to evaluate the fatigue crack behavior in metals under overload conditions. Using digital image correlation to capture the strain near crack tips, convolutional neural networks classify crack states as normal, overload, or recovery, and accurately predict fatigue parameters.

Some useful structures for categorical approach for program behavior

open access: yesJournal of Information and Organizational Sciences, 2011
Using of category theory in computer science has extremely grown in the last decade. Categories allow us to express mathematical structures in unified way. Algebras are used for constructing basic structures used in computer programs.

T-Systems and Y-Systems for Quantum Affinizations of Quantum Kac-Moody Algebras

open access: yesSymmetry, Integrability and Geometry: Methods and Applications, 2009
The T-systems and Y-systems are classes of algebraic relations originally associated with quantum affine algebras and Yangians. Recently the T-systems were generalized to quantum affinizations of a wide class of quantum Kac-Moody algebras by Hernandez ...

Iterant Algebra

open access: yesEntropy, 2017
We give an exposition of iterant algebra, a generalization of matrix algebra that is motivated by the structure of measurement for discrete processes. We show how Clifford algebras and matrix algebras arise naturally from iterants, and we then use this ...

JACOBSON RADICAL ALGEBRAS WITH QUADRATIC GROWTH

open access: yes, 2013
We show that over every countable algebraically closed field K there exists a finitely generated K-algebra that is Jacobson radical, infinite-dimensional, generated by two elements, graded and has quadratic growth.

Pre‐Curved Everting Robots With Embedded Steering Intelligence Fabricated by CO2 Laser Welding

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
Design and experimental demonstration of a laser welded growing robot for anatomically guided navigation. The robot follows an aortic arch phantom entering the branchiocephalic branch through steering by design. The figure shows the physical phantom setup, CAD defined weld geometry and full robot eversion.

Fibred Product of Commutative Algebras: Generators and Relations

open access: yesМоделирование и анализ информационных систем, 2016
The method of direct computation of the universal (fibred) product in the category of commutative associative algebras of finite type with unity over a field is given and proven.

C-Ideals of Lie Algebras. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
A subalgebra B of a Lie algebra L is called a c-ideal of L if there is an ideal C of L such that L = B + C and B \cap C \leq B_L, where B_L is the largest ideal of L contained in B.
