Derivation of constraints and database relations
In this paper we investigate which constraints may be derived from a given set of constraints. We show that, given a set of relations R, all of which are invariant under some set of permutations P, it is possible to derive any other relation which is invariant under P, using only the projection, Cartesian product, and selection operators, together with

Relational Databases and Bell’s Theorem [PDF]
Our aim in this paper is to point out a surprising formal connection, between two topics which seem on face value to have nothing to do with each other: relational database theory, and the study of non-locality and contextuality in the foundations of quantum mechanics.

Landscape of BRAF transcript variants in human cancer
We investigate the annotation of BRAF variants, focusing on protein‐coding BRAF‐220 (formerly BRAF‐reference) and BRAF‐204 (BRAF‐X1). The IsoWorm pipeline allows us to quantify these variants in human cancer, starting from RNA‐sequencing data. BRAF‐204 is more abundant than BRAF‐220 and impacts patient survival.

Optimisation of in-situ dry density estimation
Nowadays, field experiments are mostly used to determine the resistance and settlements of a soil before building. The needed devices were heavy so they cannot be used in every situation.

A new Watermarking Technique for Secure Database [PDF]
Digital multimedia watermarking technology was suggested in the last decade to embed copyright information in digital objects such images, audio and video. However, the increasing use of relational database systems in many real-life applications created an ever increasing need for watermarking database systems.
