Order dependency in the relational model
AbstractThe relational model is formally extended to include fixed orderings on attribute domains. A new constraint, called order dependency, is then introduced to incorporate semantic information involving these orderings. It is shown that this constraint can be applied to enhance the efficiency of an implemented database.

PERFORMANCE STUDY OF THE DTU MODEL FOR RELATIONAL DATABASES ON THE AZURE PLATFORM
When solving problems of working with relational databases on cloud platforms, the problem arises of choosing a specific model to ensure the performance of executing queries of varying complexity.

Representations and Ensemble Methods for Dynamic Relational Classification [PDF]
Temporal networks are ubiquitous and evolve over time by the addition, deletion, and changing of links, nodes, and attributes. Although many relational datasets contain temporal information, the majority of existing techniques in relational learning focus on static snapshots and ignore the temporal dynamics.

An Inventory of Preposition Relations [PDF]
We describe an inventory of semantic relations that are expressed by prepositions. We define these relations by building on the word sense disambiguation task for prepositions and propose a mapping from preposition senses to the relation labels by collapsing semantically related senses across prepositions.

This paper is concerned with learning to solve tasks that require a chain of interdependent steps of relational inference, like answering complex questions about the relationships between objects, or solving puzzles where the smaller elements of a ...
