Towards the direction of indoor positioning there are two main alternatives: absolute and relative. Absolute positioning requires infrastructure whereas relative positioning is based on dead reckoning and does not require any infrastructure.

Multispectral Sensing for Relative Navigation
2019A relative navigation system based on multispectral sensing device, for non-cooperative rendezvous between a chaser and a target, as well as for the descent and landing on an asteroid, is presented. A relative navigation system for vehicle platooning

The previous reported relative navigation system designed for formation flight is applied to vehicle platooning.
