On Some Growth Properties of Entire Functions Using Their Maximum Moduli Focusing p,qth Relative Order

open access: yesThe Scientific World Journal, 2014
We discuss some growth rates of composite entire functions on the basis of the definition of relative p,qth order (relative p,qth lower order) with respect to another entire function which improve some earlier results of Roy (2010) where p and q are any ...

Cup‐Like Nuclei Is a Hallmark of DUX4/ERG Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and Reveals Cytoplasmic Mitochondria Accumulation

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Cup‐like nuclei are a distinctive morphological feature observed in certain cases of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). We provide evidence that they characterize DUX4/ERG ALL independently of IKZF1 deletion and reveal marked mitochondrial accumulation in this ALL subset.

The Combined Effect of Obesity and Contraceptive Use on Pulmonary Embolism in Adolescent Females Residing in the United States

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Combined oral contraceptive (COC) use in obese adult women dramatically increases the relative risk of developing a pulmonary embolism (PE). The risk of a PE in obese adolescent females taking contraceptives is currently unknown. The purpose of this investigation was to determine the effect of body mass index (BMI) and contraceptive

Subsystem eigenstate thermalization hypothesis for entanglement entropy in CFT

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
We investigate a weak version of subsystem eigenstate thermalization hypothesis (ETH) for a two-dimensional large central charge conformal field theory by comparing the local equivalence of high energy state and thermal state of canonical ensemble.

Are Fertility Preservation Procedures Before Gonadotoxic Therapy and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation Feasible and Safe in Very Young Children? A Retrospective Cohort Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Fertility preservation (FP) is increasingly integrated into the care of pediatric patients exposed to gonadotoxic therapy or conditioning for hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), yet perioperative data in infants and toddlers remain scarce.

Feasibility and Safety of Somato‐Cognitive Coordination Therapy for Cerebellar Ataxia Following Pediatric Brain Tumor Treatment

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Cerebellar ataxia after pediatric brain tumor treatment can cause persistent gait, balance, and speech impairment, yet no established rehabilitation strategy exists. Somato‐cognitive coordination therapy (SCCT) is a virtual reality–guided intervention designed to promote sensorimotor integration through visually constrained reaching

Flue Gas Dehumidification Technology for On-line Monitoring of Ultra-Low Emission Particulate Matter in Coal-Fired Power Plants

open access: yesZhongguo dianli, 2019
Light scattering method is often used in the on-line monitoring of ultra-low emission particle concentration in coal-fired power plants, but its accuracy may be affected by the relative humidity, water droplets, vapor mist and so on.

An Accuracy-preserving Block Hybrid Algorithm for the Integration of Second-order Physical Systems with Oscillatory Solutions

open access: yesJournal of Nigerian Society of Physical Sciences, 2023
It is a known fact that in most cases, to integrate an oscillatory problem, higher order A-stable methods are often needed. This is because such problems are characterized by stiffness, chaos and damping, thus making them tedious to solve.

Rational Use of Herbal Products in Pediatric Patients Treated With Anticancer Drugs in the European Union

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction The use of herbal medical preparation (HMP) is rising among pediatric oncology patients, often to manage treatment‐related symptoms. Their effectiveness remains uncertain, and the risk of herb–drug interactions is underestimated.
