Self‐Assembled Monolayers in p–i–n Perovskite Solar Cells: Molecular Design, Interfacial Engineering, and Machine Learning–Accelerated Material Discovery

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This review highlights the role of self‐assembled monolayers (SAMs) in perovskite solar cells, covering molecular engineering, multifunctional interface regulation, machine learning (ML) accelerated discovery, advanced device architectures, and pathways toward scalable fabrication and commercialization for high‐efficiency and stable single‐junction and

Large‐Area 2D Metasurface‐Based Triboelectric E‐Skin Arrays: Contact & Proximity Tactile Mapping with Broadband Acoustic Readouts

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Metasurface‐engineered NC‐TENG arrays integrate tactile pressure mapping, non‐contact gesture sensing, and acoustic signal readouts in one ultrathin module, and outperforms pristine PDMS in terms of electrical output and real‐time spatial mapping for next‐gen wearables.

Using the Probability Density Function-Based Channel-Combination Bloch–Siegert Method Realizes Permittivity Imaging at 3T

open access: yesBioengineering
Magnetic resonance electrical properties tomography (MR EPT) can retrieve permittivity from the B1+ magnitude. However, the accuracy of the permittivity measurement using MR EPT is still not ideal due to the low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of B1 ...

Correlated Charge Transport in an Organic Coulomb Glass

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Advances in the development of organic field‐effect transistors (OFETs), electrically gated organic semiconductors (EGOFETs), and organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) allow for the operation of these devices at very high charge‐carrier densities, where Coulomb interactions between carriers can be expected to become significant.

Catch, Release, Repeat: Reversible Protein Capture in Electric Fields Using Antifouling Polymer Brushes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Capturing proteins is easy since their amphiphilic nature allows them to bind to almost any surface. Because of this, releasing them is challenging since various interactions need to be considered for this. We present a simple method to reversibly adsorb proteins on stabilized electrodes.

Light Switchable Ionic Conductivity of Arylazopyrazole Modified Polysiloxanes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
We present a polysiloxane functionalized with a novel arylazopyrazole dye that undergoes reversible photoisomerization. Upon lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide addition and UV irradiation, the polymer exhibits a shift in tan(d) toward higher frequencies and enhanced ionic conductivity.

Constraining snow water equivalent of wet snowpacks in Southeast Alaska

open access: yesAnnals of Glaciology
Quantifying snow water equivalent (SWE) with ground-penetrating radar (GPR) in a warming climate is complicated by the incidence and variability of liquid water in snow.

Analytical and experimental procedures for determining propagation characteristics of millimeter-wave gallium arsenide microstrip lines [PDF]

open access: yes
In this report, a thorough analytical procedure is developed for evaluating the frequency-dependent loss characteristics and effective permittivity of microstrip lines. The technique is based on the measured reflection coefficient of microstrip resonator
