Achieving High ON State Current through Ferroelectric Polarization‐Dependent Interfacial Resistance Switching in Undoped Orthorhombic HfO2 Films

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Ferroelectric tunnel junction devices based on epitaxial undoped ferroelectric HfO2 films demonstrate stable switching endurance of over 106 switching cycles, low write voltages of ±3 V, 16 measured resistance states, and neuromorphic capability.

How the relative permittivity of solar cell materials influences solar cell performance [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
The relative permittivity of the materials constituting heterojunction solar cells is usually not considered as a design parameter when searching for novel combinations of heterojunction materials.

The electrical resistivity and relative permittivity of binary powder mixtures [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
Effective electrical resistivities and static relative permittivities of binary powder mixtures were measured and compared to theoretical equations given by Generalized Mixture Rule (GMR).

Rationally Designed Bilayer Passivation Strategy for High‐Performance Vacuum‐Processed Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A bilayer “Anchor‐and‐Seal” passivation strategy using EDAI2 and 4MeO‐PEAI effectively mitigates surface defects in vacuum‐processed perovskite films through synergistic hydrogen bonding and Lewis base coordination. This approach optimizes interfacial energy alignment and suppresses non‐radiative recombination, enabling vacuum‐deposited p‐i‐n ...

Relative permittivity in stern and diffuse layers.

open access: yesActa chimica Slovenica, 2014
Stern layer and outer Helmholtz plane (i.e. the distance of closest approach) are considered within electric double layer models, where the orientational ordering of water dipoles is explicitly taken into account. It is shown that permittivity of the Stern layer is not independent of the surface charge density as it is frequently assumed in different ...

The Microwave properties of tissue and other lossy dielectrics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
This thesis describes work on the theoretical modelling and experimental measurement of the complex permittivity of dielectrics. The main focus of research has been into the characterisation of permittivity of planar and layered samples within the ...

Microwave processing and permittivity measurement of thermoplastic composites at elevated temperature [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
[Abstract]: The material properties of greatest importance in microwave processing of a dielectric are the complex relative permittivity ε = ε′- jε″, and the loss tangent, tan δ = ε″/ ε′.

Relative permittivity of bioethanol, gasoline and blends as a function of temperature and composition

open access: yes, 2021
The dependence of the real part of the relative permittivity of bioethanol, gasoline, and their blends was determined. Measurements were performed in the temperature range between 298 K and 323 K, at a frequency of 100 kHz.

Titanium Suboxides Responsible for Electronic Anomaly Near Room Temperature in the Ti3C2Tx MXene

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Our multi‐technique study reveals that the near‐room‐temperature anomaly in Ti3C2Tx MXene is linked to titanium suboxide nanodomains, including Ti3O5, embedded within the MXene host. Their temperature‐driven transformation provides an alternative explanation to solvent‐ and swelling‐based models and offers new insight into the thermally activated ...
