A high relative precision colour-magnitude diagram of M67 [PDF]

open access: yesMonthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society, 2004
We have calibrated an extensive set of BVI observations of M67. We have selected stars that are most likely to be single-star members of the cluster using proper motion, radial velocity, and variability information from the literature, and an examination of the most probable color-magnitude diagram locations of unresolved stellar blends.

Influence of Three-Body Gravitational Perturbation for Drag-Free Spacecraft

open access: yesInternational Journal of Aerospace Engineering, 2022
This paper mainly studies the motion and control of the drag-free spacecraft system for a high-precision mission. In high-precision missions, the influence of three-body gravitational perturbation on a drag-free spacecraft system is still lack of ...

Are Fertility Preservation Procedures Before Gonadotoxic Therapy and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation Feasible and Safe in Very Young Children? A Retrospective Cohort Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Fertility preservation (FP) is increasingly integrated into the care of pediatric patients exposed to gonadotoxic therapy or conditioning for hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT), yet perioperative data in infants and toddlers remain scarce.

Sustained Therapeutic Efficacy of Intravenous Plasminogen Concentrate in Pediatric Patients With Type 1 Plasminogen Deficiency: An Analysis of Dosing Parameters and Clinical Outcomes

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Type 1 plasminogen deficiency (PLGD‐1) is an ultra‐rare autosomal recessive disorder caused by variants in the PLG gene and affects approximately 1.6 individuals per million. The condition is characterized by decreased plasminogen levels and impaired function, resulting in fibrin‐rich lesions on mucous membranes throughout the body.

Quantum-Limited Estimation of Range and Velocity

open access: yesPRX Quantum, 2021
The energy-time uncertainty relation puts a fundamental limit on the precision of lidars for the estimation of range and velocity. The precision in the estimation of the range (through the time of arrival) and the velocity (through Doppler frequency ...

Guidelines for Pediatric Radiotherapy Simulation: A Report From the Children's Oncology Group Radiation Oncology Discipline

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric radiation therapy presents unique challenges compared to adult treatments, including those of immobilization, potential need for sedation, and the critical importance of accurate, reproducible positioning. Additionally, heightened attention to imaging doses is necessary to minimize long‐term toxicity in survivors.

Detection of Spatial and Temporal Variability of Wheat Cultivars by High-Resolution Vegetation Indices

open access: yesAgronomy, 2019
An on-farm research study was carried out on two small-plots cultivated with two cultivars of durum wheat (Odisseo and Ariosto). The paper presents a theoretical approach for investigating frequency vegetation indices (VIs) in different areas of the ...
