RELATIVE INFORMATION ENTROPY AND WEYL TENSOR

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics: Conference Series, 2012
Due to cosmic structures in the Universe, the inhomogeneities influence the evolution of the background Universe. To characterize this influence, we extend the Kullback-Leibler relative entropy in information theory to cosmology. We study the relation between the relative entropy and the averaging problem in the perturbed Universe, and explore the ...

Multimodal Mechanical Testing of Additively Manufactured Ti6Al4V Lattice Structures: Compression, Bending, and Fatigue

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
In this experimental study, the mechanical properties of additively manufactured Ti‐6Al‐4V lattice structures of different geometries are characterized using compression, four point bending and fatigue testing. While TPMS designs show superior fatigue resistance, SplitP and Honeycomb lattice structures combine high stiffness and strength. The resulting

Rheocasting versus Die Casting: An Insight into the Low‐Cycle Fatigue Behavior of AlSi7Mg0.6

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The study compares rheocast lightweight components with high‐pressure die cast materials regarding microstructure and fatigue behavior. Rheocast process offers higher efficiency due to lower casting temperatures. Despite some microstructural differences, both processes show similar strengths (yield strength 125 MPa, tensile strength 240 MPa).

MODELLING OF THE PRESSURE AND DENSITY SENSITIVE BEHAVIOUR OF SAND WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF HYPOPLASTICITY

open access: yesTASK Quarterly, 2000
In this paper a hypoplastic model proposed by Gudchus and Bauer is presented which is apt to describe the mechanical behaviour of loose and dense sand within a wide range of pressures and densities using a single set of constants.

Design and Prototyping of Topology‐Optimized, Additively Manufactured Lightweight Components for Space Robotic Systems: A Case Study

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The results demonstrate a simulation‐driven workflow that applies LSB topology optimization with additive manufacturing constraints to mission‐specific load cases, integrating European Cooperation for Space Standardization compliant verification and manufacturability to develop structurally efficient rover suspension components.

Adaptive tensor train learning algorithm based on single-aspect streaming model

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2023
An adaptive tensor train (TT) learning algorithm for the online decomposition problem of high-order tensors in single-aspect streaming model was investigated.Firstly, it was deduced that single-aspect streaming increment only changes the dimension of ...
