Strong property (T) and relatively hyperbolic groups
Mathematische ZeitschriftWe prove that relatively hyperbolic groups do not have Lafforgue strong Property $(T)$ with respect to Hilbert spaces. To do so we construct an unbounded affine representation of such groups, whose linear part is of polynomial growth of degree $2$. Moreover, this representation is proper for the metric of the coned-off graph.

Design of a Bilayer Metalens for Red, Green, and Blue‐Achromatic Imaging with Wide Field of View
Advanced Photonics Research, EarlyView.Herein, an RGB‐achromatic bilayer metalens with a wide 80‐degree field‐of‐view and a high 0.65 numerical aperture is presented. Using silicon nitride meta‐atoms, it maintains consistent focal lengths for red, green, and blue light, even at oblique angles.
