Repeating Nuclear Transients From Repeating Partial Tidal Disruption Events
ABSTRACT Extragalactic nuclear transients that exhibit repeating outbursts can be modeled as the repeated dynamical interaction between bound stars and supermassive black holes (SMBHs). A subset of these transients, with recurrence timescales of months‐to‐years, have been explained as accretion flares from the repeated tidal stripping of a star by an ...

Quantifying the Impact of Relativistic Precession on Tidal Disruption Event Light Curves
ABSTRACT The tidal field of a black hole can turn a star into a gas stream whose orbit can precess, especially if the a black hole is rapidly spinning. In this work, we investigate the impact of precession on the light curves of tidal disruption events (TDE).

A Critical Study of Relativism: A Feature of Postmodernism
In the Western countries, the concept of postmodernism is not new and novel. It is an extension of human inquiry in social issues and problems, new shapes of expressions and new trends of analyses and sensibility.

Atomically precise metal cluster enzymes for pathological tissue regeneration
Schematic illustration of atomically precise metal cluster enzymes (MCEs) for pathological tissue regeneration. Atomically precise MCEs can modulate biological processes, such as attenuation of inflammatory responses, eradication of bacterial pathogens, regulation of angiogenesis, and promotion of cell development.

Disagreement, Cognitive Command, and the Indexicality of Moral Truth
Moral Relativism can be considered an attractive alternative to realism because relativists can make good sense of cultural and societal disagreements by seeing them as faultless.

ABSTRACT Over the past twenty years, main group chemistry has significantly expanded its scope to include reactivities once considered the exclusive domain of transition metals. Among the emerging concepts, element‐ligand cooperation has proven to be a powerful strategy for enabling bond activation reactions but remains relatively unexplored for ...

Distinct Ligand‐ and Metal‐Centered Phosphorescence in a Terbium Carbazolyl Complex
Terbium and lanthanum carbazolide complexes show two distinct modes of luminescence: Strongly temperature‐dependent narrow‐line terbium emission could be induced. In addition, both the terbium and the lanthanum complexes show broad‐line interligand emission processes with excited states of microsecond life‐time.

"Putnamizacja absolutnie wszystkiego" i jej epistemologiczne reperkusje („Putnamisation of Absolutely Everything” and its Epistemological Repercussions) [PDF]
In the article inspired by Putnam’s thesis of „skolemisation of absolutely everything” (which is so called theory-modelling argument about semantic anti-realism) I try to describe Hilary Putnam’s style of philosophy, especially his argumentation in ...

A self‐assembled hydrophobic and red phosphorescent Au(I) coordination polymer (CP) was synthesized under mild conditions. Single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction (XRD) demonstrated linear Au(I) chains stabilized by aurophilic and hydrogen bonding interactions.
