On hydrogen-like bound states in N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 super Yang-Mills
Using relativistic quantum mechanics, we study the spectrum of a non-BPS two-particle bound state in the massive phase of N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 4 super Yang-Mills, in the limit when one of the particles is infinitely heavier than the other.

What is the relativistic spin operator?
Although the spin is regarded as a fundamental property of the electron, there is no universally accepted spin operator within the framework of relativistic quantum mechanics.

In this homage to Einstein's 144th birthday we propose a novel quantization prescription, where the paths of a path-integral are not random, but rather solutions of a geodesic equation in a random background.
