Effect of viscosity and thermal conductivity on the radial oscillation and relaxation of relativistic stars

open access: yes, 2019
In this paper we present a generic formulation of the linearized dynamical equations governing small adiabatic radial oscillations of relativistic stars.

In Materia Shaping of Randomness with a Standard Complementary Metal‐Oxide‐Semiconductor Transistor for Task‐Adaptive Entropy Generation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study establishes a materials‐driven framework for entropy generation within standard CMOS technology. By electrically rebalancing gate‐oxide traps and Si‐channel defects in foundry‐fabricated FDSOI transistors, the work realizes in‐materia control of temporal correlation – achieving task adaptive entropy optimization for reinforcement learning ...

Many-Body Dynamics and Decoherence of the XXZ Central Spin Model in External Magnetic Field

open access: yesEntropy, 2019
The many-body dynamics of an electron spin−1/2 qubit coupled to a bath of nuclear spins by hyperfine interactions, as described by the central spin model in two kinds of external field, are studied in this paper.

Coherent shuttle of electron-spin states

open access: yes, 2017
We demonstrate a coherent spin shuttle through a GaAs/AlGaAs quadruple-quantum-dot array. Starting with two electrons in a spin-singlet state in the first dot, we shuttle one electron over to either the second, third or fourth dot.

Geometry‐Dependent Adhesion in Transparent Monodomain Liquid Crystal Elastomers

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Liquid Crystal Elastomers (LCEs) are emerging as exciting pressure‐sensitive adhesives. We examine adhesion in chemically identical elastomer films, exploring the influence of geometry (director orientation) and phase (nematic or isotropic). We demonstrate the potential of these aligned films as transparent, tunable, broad‐temperature‐range smart ...

Dynamic behavior of stochastic fast-slow fishery economic model with Allee effect

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations
This article investigates a stochastic fast-slow fishery economic model with Allee effect. The fast-slow dynamic behavior of the deterministic system is discussed by using the theory of singular perturbation.

Modeling and simulation of dynamics and noise of semiconductor lasers under NTSC modulation for use in the CATV technology

open access: yesBeni-Suef University Journal of Basic and Applied Sciences, 2015
We investigate the dynamics and noise of semiconductor lasers (SLs) subject to analog modulation with the frequency plan of the National Television Standards Committee (NTSC) for use in the community access television (CATV) systems.

Atomic‐Level Dual‐Cation Engineering Enables High‐Performance Na4VMn(PO4)3 Cathodes for Sodium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Dual‐cation site engineering unlocks stable and fast sodium storage in Na4VMn(PO4)3 cathodes. Li+ at Na2 suppresses Jahn‐Teller distortion, while K+ at Na1 expands ion channels, enabling synchronized V/Mn redox and quasi‐single‐phase kinetics. This atomic‐level strategy achieves ultralong cycling stability, high‐rate capability, and full cell viability

Measuring the Internal Temperature of a Levitated Nanoparticle in High Vacuum

open access: yes, 2018
The interaction of an object with its surrounding bath can lead to a coupling between the object's internal degrees of freedom and its center-of-mass motion. This coupling is especially important for nanomechanical oscillators, which are amongst the most
