LSA relaxation oscillator principles
IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices, 1971Oversized n-GaAs diodes operating in the LSA mode with doping-to-frequency ratios in the 1-5×105s/cm3range are investigated in circuits that contain a short-circuited high impedance transmission line foreshortened to resonate the electronic parallel capacitance of the diode.

Noise in relaxation oscillators
IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, 1983The timing jitter in relaxation oscillators is analyzed. This jitter is described by a single normalized equation whose solution allows prediction of noise in practical oscillators. The theory is confirmed by measurements on practical oscillators and is used to develop a prototype low-noise oscillator with a measured jitter of 1.5 ppm RMS.

LXXVIII. Frictional relaxation oscillations
The London, Edinburgh, and Dublin Philosophical Magazine and Journal of Science, 1949Summary and Conclusions A graphical method has been developed and applied to solve the equation of motion for frictional relaxation oscillations in cases where the intrinsic frictional coefficient varies with the speed of rubbing. The solution takes the form of a curve relating a displacement parameter with the speed of vibration.

129 Xe Relaxation and Rabi Oscillations
2015Several studies in magnetic resonance experiment and theory are presented. The longitudinal relaxation of solid 129Xe is shown to have an unexpected structural dependence through experiments that provide previously unattainable reproducibility; also, groundwork is laid for theories that describe the observed data.

Relaxation of nonlinear oscillator
Theoretical and Mathematical Physics, 1991i. The problem of the distribution function of a system with a finite number of levels that interacts with a thermal reservoir and with an external harmonic force arises in the solution of many problems in physics. As examples, we can mention systems that consist of atoms or molecules in the field of a laser wave, the particles existing in a solid or ...
