A nuclear magnetic relaxometer for express testing of the condensed medium conditions
Instruments and Experimental Techniques, 2015The design of a compact nuclear magnetic relaxometer is described. This relaxometer is capable of measuring longitudinal T 1 and transverse T 2 relaxation times of condensed media in a weak magnetic field with B 0 = 62 mT.

A Compression Relaxometer for Rubber Materials
Rubber Chemistry and Technology, 1973Abstract A relaxometer which permits measurements of stress relaxation for compressed rubber samples is presented. Measurements in the temperature range 316.5 to 412.7° K show the good function of the relaxometer. The relaxometer has also been used in a study of deviations from linear viscoelastic behavior.

Measuring stress relaxation in a compression relaxometer
Journal of Non-Crystalline Solids, 1992In stress relaxation measurements, utilizing a sample in the shape of a thick cylinder the stiffness of the sample is typically greater than the stiffness of the measuring unit of the device. In this case, the observed stress relaxation time may be orders of magnitude greater than that expected from the viscosity over shear modulus ratio.
