A Rapid and Sensitive Method for the Determination of Chitosan Concentration by NMR Relaxometry. [PDF]
ABSTRACT A rapid, reagent‐free method for the quantification of chitosan in aqueous solutions was developed using 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) relaxometry. Transverse relaxation times (T2) of chitosan solutions (5–1000 mg/L) were measured with a Carr–Purcell–Meiboom–Gill (CPMG) sequence on a benchtop NMR relaxometer.

Physicochemical Necessary and Sufficient Conditions for Superferromagnetism in High-Resolution Magnetic Particle Imaging. [PDF]
This study investigates how strong dipole–dipole coupling in linear chains of synthesized superparamagnetic nanoparticles induces superferromagnetism, enhancing Magnetic Particle Imaging (MPI) resolution. A positive feedback model predicts key magnetic behaviors, such as coercivity, and guides nanoparticle synthesis.

Usability of Amorphous Manganese Oxide for Assessing the Proteoglycan Content in Articular Cartilage. [PDF]
Amorphous manganese oxide nanoparticles exhibit high relaxivity and diffuse into articular cartilage faster than Gd‐DTPA, making them a promising agent for evaluating proteoglycan content. ABSTRACT Osteoarthritis (OA) is a highly common chronic disease that decreases functional capacity and can cause disability. The early detection of the disease could

Chiral Switch of Gadopiclenol: New Standards in MRI Probes. [PDF]
The stereochemistry of the coordinating side arms of the polyaminocarboxylic ligand piclenol is found to be crucial in determining the MRI contrast efficiency of the corresponding Gd(III)‐complex (“gadopiclenol”). This finding allowed to identify the most effective enantiomer of gadopiclenol, the latter being used as the first clinically approved q = 2

Microstructural Analysis of Peripheral Lung Tissue through CPMG Inter-Echo Time R2 Dispersion. [PDF]
Since changes in lung microstructure are important indicators for (early stage) lung pathology, there is a need for quantifiable information of diagnostically challenging cases in a clinical setting, e.g.
