Relaying selection based multiple access relay channel
2016 24th Signal Processing and Communication Application Conference (SIU), 2016Relay selection in case of fast cascade Rayleigh fading channels has been examined in multiple access relay channel structure which is one of the high spectral efficiency network coding applications. Error performance analysis of MARC system has been made for noncoherent binary frequency shift keying (BFSK) and it has been shown that the proposed ...

Opportunistic relays selection for successive relaying with inter-relay interference
2015 IEEE 12th Malaysia International Conference on Communications (MICC), 2015In the presence of inter-relay interference, the capacity performance of successive relaying can be severely degraded. Existing literature on successive relaying does not consider the channel quality of the inter-relay channel in maximising the capacity performance.

Instantaneous Overcurrent Relays for Distance Relaying
Transactions of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers, 1935Instantaneous isolation of faults on transmission and distribution lines is ever a problem of the relay engineer. The use of instantaneous overcurrent relays as applied to the system of the Oklahoma Gas and Electric Company is discussed in this paper. Relays of this type were applied in conjunction with already installed overcurrent time delay relays ...

Data races occur when multiple threads are about to access the same piece of memory, and at least one of those accesses is a write. Such races can lead to hard-to-reproduce bugs that are time consuming to debug and fix. We present RELAY, a static and scalable race detection analysis in which unsoundness is modularized to a few sources.

In this paper, we consider a dual-hop regenerative relay system consisting of one source node, one destination node and multiple relay nodes. All nodes are equipped with a single antenna except the destination node. We discuss two different relay selection strategies: 1) selection of the best relay; and 2) selection of all reliable relays.
