Relaying selection based multiple access relay channel
2016 24th Signal Processing and Communication Application Conference (SIU), 2016Relay selection in case of fast cascade Rayleigh fading channels has been examined in multiple access relay channel structure which is one of the high spectral efficiency network coding applications. Error performance analysis of MARC system has been made for noncoherent binary frequency shift keying (BFSK) and it has been shown that the proposed ...

Relaying strategies for the interference relay channel
2012 IEEE 13th International Workshop on Signal Processing Advances in Wireless Communications (SPAWC), 2012In this paper, the two-user interference relay channel (IRC) is studied. Transmission schemes for this network are compared. Namely, compress-and-forward (CF) and functional decode-and-forward (FDF) are presented. In CF, the relay establishes cooperation with the users by compressing its observation and forwarding it to the receivers. In FDF, the relay

Optimal Relay Location for Fading Relay Channels
2010 IEEE 72nd Vehicular Technology Conference - Fall, 2010In this paper we study the problem of relayenhanced cell (REC) coverage for which relay location is optimized to maximize the achievable REC radius. The problem is investigated for both Rayleigh and Rician relay fading channels, under a pre-determined user's outage probability constraint.

Gaussian interfering relay channels
2013 Asilomar Conference on Signals, Systems and Computers, 2013We extend the primitive relay channel (PRC) introduced by Cover and Kim to a more general scenario where two Gaussian PRC's cause interference to each other. We show that extended hash-and-forward relaying with proper power allocation can achieve bounded gaps to the capacity region of the Gaussian channel in different regimes of channel parameters.

Partial cognitive relay channel
2009 IEEE Information Theory Workshop on Networking and Information Theory, 2009We define partial cognitive relay channel as a two-transmitter, two-receiver interference channel with a relay node such that one of the transmitters is a cognitive transmitter. As a more feasible assumption we assume that the cognitive transmitter has non-causally access to a part of the other transmitter's encoded message.

Rateless coding for wireless relay channels
Proceedings. International Symposium on Information Theory, 2005. ISIT 2005., 2005We propose a novel coding framework for wireless relay channels based on rateless codes, which allows for a natural extension to multiple antenna and multiple relay settings. The relaying protocol is half-duplex, and relays independently choose when to collaborate, if at all.

Relaying functions for the multiple access relay channel
2010 6th International Symposium on Turbo Codes & Iterative Information Processing, 2010In this paper, we investigate the benefit of joint network-channel (JNC) distributed coding for the multiple-access half-duplex relay channel. In contrast with previous work, the orthogonality of the medium access is partially relaxed and the source-to-relay links are not error-free. More specifically, the sources are allowed to transmit simultaneously

Relay selection with channel allocation for cognitive radio relay channels in CRN
2014 Eleventh International Conference on Wireless and Optical Communications Networks (WOCN), 2014This paper investigates cognitive radio network (CRN) performance through cooperative multiple cognitive radio relays and relay selection with channel allocation scheme. In one approach the overall end-to-end throughput (OEET) improves as the number of cognitive radio relays (CRRs) increases in CRN.
