Analog network coding using differential and double-differential modulation with relay selection

open access: yesICT Express, 2019
A simple relay selection scheme is proposed for analog network coding using differential modulation (ANC-DM). We propose a relay selection scheme based solely on the received signal power in which their own information is canceled out at each source node.

Empirical Comparison of Propagation Models for Relay-Based Networks in Urban Environments

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2022
We investigate propagation characteristics for wireless channels, applicable to Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB) and relay-based networks with lamppost-height nodes at 5.5 GHz.

On Design of Collaborative Beamforming for Two-Way Relay Networks

open access: yes, 2010
We consider a two-way relay network, where two source nodes, S1 and S2, exchange information through a cluster of relay nodes. The relay nodes receive the sum signal from S1 and S2 in the first time slot.

Source-channel coding for the multiple-access relay channel [PDF]

open access: yes2011 8th International Symposium on Wireless Communication Systems, 2011
This work considers reliable transmission of general correlated sources over the multiple-access relay channel (MARC) and the multiple-access broadcast relay channel (MABRC). In MARCs only the destination is interested in a reconstruction of the sources, while in MABRCs both the relay and the destination want to reconstruct the sources.

Toward Energy Efficient Electrochemical Valorization of Waste Nitrate and Sulfide

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces an integrated electrochemical strategy couples nitrate reduction with sulfide oxidation for energy‐efficient wastewater valorization. A Cu‐Co dual‑site catalyst, engineered for close proximity, promotes *NO2 relay and subsequently NH3 formation, enabling the system to operate at substantially reduced cell voltages and produce high ...

A joint time-invariant filtering approach to the linear Gaussian relay problem [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
In this paper, the linear Gaussian relay problem is considered. Under the linear time-invariant (LTI) model the problem is formulated in the frequency domain based on the Toeplitz distribution theorem.

Serotonergic System‐Targeted Nucleic Acid Hydrogel Coordinates Excitability Restoration and Circuit Reconstruction for Spinal Cord Injury Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
The study reports a DNA/RNA heteroduplex hydrogel (SeroPTEN‐CG) that undergoes DNase‐mediated hydrogel‐to‐nanogel transition for spinal cord injury therapy by targeting the serotonergic system, combining 5‐hydroxytryptamine (5‐HT)‐mediated excitability restoration to reactivate dormant interneurons with phosphatase and tensin homolog (PTEN)‐targeted ...

A Decentralized Receiver in Gaussian Interference

open access: yesEntropy, 2018
Bounds are developed on the maximum communications rate between a transmitter and a fusion node aided by a cluster of distributed receivers with limited resources for cooperation, all in the presence of an additive Gaussian interferer.
